The CER produces a report on security of supply every two years. The Generation Adequacy Report produced by the TSO provides further detailed information on the Generation System at present and predicts the future position of the system under a variety of scenarios.

The TSO publishes up-to-date information on the system performance on www.eirgrid.com. In addition, the CER publishes a weekly report, summarising the performance of the electricity system over the previous week. This report can be found on our website in the Weekly Generation Update section.

Details of Ireland’s generation system are published both in the Generation Adequacy Report (as published on www.eirgrid.com) and also in the Commission’s security of supply report which can be found in the Reports and Publications section of our website.
