Demand Side Management and Smart Metering March 2007
The Commission is considering measures that will encourage customers to use electricity more efficiently and reduce their costs of energy. In particular the case for providing domestic and small business customers with time-of-day electricity prices and smart metering arrangements is made. To this end, the Commission publishes a consultation paper on demand side management and smart metering and invites comments on the CER's current proposals.
Comments should be made to Caroline Johnston by 10 April 2007.
