Under the provision of the Control and Reporting Framework for the management of the East-West Interconnector (EWIC) project EirGrid are required to submit a status report on the construction progress for each quarter. The purpose of this report is to inform the public and interested parties as to the progress of its construction. In this way interested parties can be kept informed of progress allowing them to make their own arrangements for its potential future use in a timely manner.
