Gas Meter Roll-out Programme Completion
The CER was responsible for overseeing the liberalisation of the Irish natural gas market, on a phased basis, with a view to full market opening by 2005. To allow new eligible natural gas customers to change Shipper/Supplier, Bord Gáis Distribution, with approval from the CER, undertook a programme to install daily meters to these customer sites.
