Proposed Natural Gas Shipping Licence and Supply Licence - Updated

The CER is today (18th February 2011) publishing updated versions of the proposed natural gas shipping licence and natural gas supply licence, which were issued for consultation in October 2010. These separated and revised licences are to replace the existing combined CER gas shipping/supply licence. The CER has also produced  a proposed decision paper alongside these proposed licences which invites final comment on the updates to the licences as noted and provides information on the implementation of the proposed licences.

Final comments may be submitted on the updated licences by close of business on 4th of March 2011. For further information, please contact Jerry Mac Evilly (jmacevilly@cer.ie) at the CER.

Proposed Natural Gas Shipping Licence and Supply Lience

The CER is today (5th October 2010) publishing a proposed natural gas shipping licence and natural gas supply licence. These separate licences are to replace the existing combined shipping/supply licence. This change is to reflect that the legislation defines 'shipping' and 'supply' as two separate licensable activities. Pursuant to Section 20 of the Electricity Regulation  Act 1999, the CER has today published a notice to this effect in the Irish Times.

Comments are invited on the above licences by close of business on 3rd November 2010. For further information, please contact Jerry Mac Evilly (jmacevilly@cer.ie) at the CER.
