Gas

A key componentĀ of the CER's Natural Gas Safety Regulatory Framework is the Gas Safety Case Regime which uses a risk and outcomes based approach to the management of gas safety risks to a level that is as low as reasonably practicable, for each licensed undertaking.

The CER has today (19 December 2007) published a decision paper on the Safety Case Guidelines.

As part of its implmentation of the natural gas safety regulatory framework, the CER has published the high level process that will be adopted in assessing Safety Cases.
