On 2nd November, 2009 the CER published for information a high level strategy for gas safety promotion and public awareness in Ireland, under the Natural Gas Safety Regulatory Framework.
This strategy was developed with the support of the Gas Safety Promotion and Public Awareness Expert Group. The Expert Group, which was established by the CER, comprises of representatives from Gaslink, Bord Gais Networks, current Suppliers to the domestic gas customer market (Bord Gais Energy and Flogas Natural Gas), the Registered Gas Installers of Ireland (RGII) and the National Standards Authority of Ireland/Gas Technical Standards Committee.
