CER Factsheet

The Commission has published four Factsheets in 2010. They are:

Competition in Electricity Supply: This factsheet provides a summary of the Commission's Roadmap to Deregulation of the Electricity Supply Market and also the Commission's recent Competition Review.
Electricity Prices in Ireland: This factsheet provides information on the factors influencing Irish Electricity Prices.
Electricity Network and Charges: This factsheet explains the electricity network, how it impacts on electricity bills and how costs for the network are set. This relates to revenue review consultation papers issued in July 2010 for the Transmission and Distribution networks.
Generator Connection Policy: This factsheet discusses the process by which new generation projects are connected to the network.
